NELSON MADISON FILMS was formed by Linda Nelson and Michael Madison in 2003. Nelson and Madison first partnered in 2000 to develop, produce and distribute a giant screen film documenting the pop music mega group, NSYNC. This $5,000,000 film premiered in Los Angeles and screened at more than fifty IMAX and giant screen theaters worldwide.

With the experience gained producing NSYNC BIGGER THAN LIVE, the producers decided that they were ready to take a more active role in the creative process.. Their interest in character driven, contemporary dramas inspired them to write an ensemble script about struggling with contemporary social issues.

The company's new film, SHIFTED, was written, developed, and produced entirely in-house. It is a SAG film, done under a low-budget agreement. The goal of NELSON MADISON FILMS is to produce economical, independant features that utilize local talent and innovative, high-tech production techniques.
